Summary: Kind of like a guy who explores sewers, got kidnapped, got the “deadpool” treatment, and is basically now constantly dehydrated- so water heals them- percy jackson core

Lore: So basically while exploring because she wanted to do a background check for her brother, she got yoinked by the lab folks, pissed them off, underwent the Deadpool treatment- broke out with the whole fire and shit- and the big bad (I need to make up who’s gonna be the “ajax/francis” in this au) pushed them into the water bc- like she was tryna fight them but girliepop was hobbling, struggling, could barely stand up but still tried to punch the guy. So yeah, he pushed her in the water and he thought she drowned. She thought she drowned. But yeah she blacks out for a bit underwater then wakes up like a week later- still in the water- and literally everything stings. So she pushes herself up to the surface and gets the frick out of there
